All bodies are welcome here. Come as you are.
What makes our practice different?
-
Our team prides itself in knowing you as a human. We want to support you as an individual but know that you exist within a variety of communities, relationships and systems that all impact you.
Unlike other dietitians, we keep small caseloads so we can really focus on you and the care you deserve. Some dietitians that take insurance can see upwards of 100 clients a month. We aim to keep our caseloads under 30 clients per month so you never become a number in our schedule.
-
We believe you are a human first before you are anything else.
Through extensive supervision and ongoing continuing education, our providers are equipped to provide the relational support necessary for your healing.
Research shows that the most impactful factor impacting client outcomes is the provider-client relationship. This is more important than any modality used and is why we value client feedback and regularly seek it out so we can always be improving the care we provide you. No more will you feel like your provider just “doesn’t get it”. We are committed to understanding you and your unique needs.
-
The healthcare system makes care collaboration so difficult. Providers are often holding such large case loads and so burnt out that they rarely are able to effectively collaborate with your team.
Our team goes above and beyond to understand your story. We work closely with your therapists and other medical providers to support you in your journey as we know our work is only one piece of the puzzle that is your healing journey.
By keeping our caseloads small, we can focus on regularly communicating with your team to ensure that everyone is on the same page and you feel supported.
Our Services
Disordered Eating & Intuitive Eating
We work with clients across the entire spectrum of disordered eating from clinically diagnosed eating disorder to chronic dieting to those that just feel their relationship with food, movement and their body is just “off”.
We take a hands-on approach to really understand your story and what has led you to your current behavioral patterns. Our caseloads are small which allows us to provide the highest quality of care that is tailored to you as a human being.
Co-Occurring Conditions
Human beings don’t exist in a bubble and we are experts in helping our clients juggle co-occurring conditions. This can be anything from mental health diagnoses like bipolar disorder, personality disorders and substance use disorders, to chronic pain to health conditions including high cholesterol, hypertension and IBS.
Weight Stigma and Trauma
Research shows that experiences of weight stigma are harmful to our health. We create a safe space, free of judgement for clients to share their story. Sometimes the most powerful and reparative role we play as dietitians is creating this type of space for clients to be heard and seen.
We often work with clients that have never discussed their relationship with food, movement or body image in therapy or have tried and not gotten where they wanted with it.
Areas of Specialty
Learn who we work with and how we support clients struggling with various diagnoses and conditions that may impact their relationship with food, movement, and their body
-
We work with clients to help them understand how their anxiety and depression can manifest in food and movement behaviors. As well as how their underlying anxiety and depression can worsen when their bodies are inadequately nourished.
-
Athletes have unique energy needs that can be difficult to meet when disordered eating is on board. We work closely with clients to support the amount of movement they want and need to do while also understanding the physiological needs their bodies have with high levels of activity.
We support our clients in nourishing their body regardless of activity in addition to fueling adequately before, during and after movement. We also closely assess the adequacy of intake to ensure preservation of bone density, menstruation in female clients and optimum athletic performance.
-
We support clients with bipolar disorder in identifying the disordered patterns that exist with food in manic and/or depressive cycles.
We also ensure clients have a team that can support all of their needs from therapeutic to psychiatric to dietary.
-
There is a lot of evidence that shows associations between chronic pain and illness with disordered eating. We support clients in noticing the patterns that may exist for them between chronic pain/illness and disordered eating.
We support clients in meeting themselves where they’re at and also in having a multi-disciplinary team that can support their various medical, psychological and dietary needs.
-
Studies have shown that inadequate nourishment, regardless of body size, can impact fertility outcomes for women. We work with clients to nourish their bodies adequately to support fertility while also holding space for the toll that IVF and struggles with fertility can have on their psychological and physical wellbeing.
-
Gastrointestinal symptoms can be both associated with and a product of disordered eating. We hold space for clients to share more about their unique GI symptoms and offer education and tools to help support them as they navigate their healing journey.
We help clients to disentangle what GI challenges are rooted in disordered behaviors and which are underlying physiological struggles that need tailored solutions.
-
There is significant crossover between neurodivergence and disordered eating. Clients with ADHD and ASD can be at greater risk for binge eating disorder as well as ARFID.
We support clients in understanding how their neurodivergence impacts things like grocery shopping, food preparation, life routines, etc. while simultaneously supporting them in incremental changes that promote consistent eating, regularity in patterns with food and movement and identifying what can be stimulating and overstimulating with food/exercise.
-
Are you a parent of a child with an ED and don’t know where to begin? Or maybe your child (adult or 18 years or younger) is struggling with disordered eating and you need support in navigating what is coming up for you and your relationship with food, movement and your body.
We are uniquely positioned to support parents in helping their child develop and intuitive relationship with food and their body while helping you feel able to support yourself and your own needs. Parents are humans first!
-
Research shows strong crossovers between substance use disorder and disordered eating. We work with clients to have a team that can support both the disordered eating and substance abuse.
We work collaboratively with clients to increase awareness of cycles that exist between disordered behaviors and substance abuse.
-
Research shows strong associations between trauma and eating disorders. We work with clients to make sure they have a team that can support both.
As dietitians, we also practice from a trauma-informed lens. Meaning, we understand how trauma can impact how we eat, our body’s cues around hunger and fullness and our ability to regulate emotionally which can impact our ability to eat and feel connected/present.
-
We understand how difficult it can be to get support for your own eating disorder when you are treating clients who have ED’s.
There can be a lot of shame in needing support and we aim to create a safe space to know that before anyone is a provider, they are a human first.
We aren’t here to judge. We are here to support and create a space for you to get the help you deserve.

Sessions look different for every client but all start with a free consult call to assess fit and discuss availability. From there we schedule an intake appointment and follow up sessions. We typically see clients weekly for at least 3 months before discussing a change in frequency.
